Get Involved:
Helping others will take your mind off your own troubles. Voluntary works pick a cause you’re passionate about, and match it to your skills and interests. Bush regeneration makes a difference to your local area and gain knowledge about our native flora. Saving injured wildlife help rehabilitate wildlife by joining an animal rescue organization. Monitor the environment- many environmental projects need volunteers to help record native plants and animals.
Acupressure:
Take a break during your work day with this self help technique- place your fingers at the base of your neck, on either side of your spine. Press for 15 seconds, take a deep breath in, and breathe out. Move your fingers 2cm outwards, and then repeat. Move your fingers another 2cm outwards and repeat. Stretch your back by giving yourself a big hug. Swap your hands over and hug yourself again.
Keep Life Interesting:
Doing something new will give your mind a refreshing makeover- start an evening class. Learn to paint or dance.
