Bright Eyes:
Steep chamomile tea bags in boiling water. When cool, apply them to puffy eyes. Reduce dark under-eye circles with a compress or eyebath of eyebright. Soothe swollen eyelids with a mask of cooled mashed potato.
Polished Smile:
Gargle with cold black tea. The tannin in tea strengthens gums. Fresh strawberries give your teeth a whitening boost. Treat a mouth ulcer by rinsing with a solution of one teaspoon of 3% hydrogen peroxide in 50ml water. Chew of fennel seeds of beat bad breath. To fight plaque, mix a teaspoon of Aloe Vera gel into warm water, then gargle. There’s no need to spend a fortune on teeth whitening treatments. Instead, try this: combine 1 tablespoon bicarbonate of soda with 1 teaspoon of fine sea salt. Dip a moistened toothbrush directly into the mix and gently brush- don’t scrub your teeth. Use no more than once a mouth.
No Sweat:
Try a crystal stick as a deodorant. It’s a chunk of mineral salts which control bacteria. Wear clothes made of natural fabrics like cotton or linen, as they are able to absorb perspiration better than synthetics.
Hair Repair:
For a rich conditioner, warm half a cup apricot kernel or sweet almond oil and massage it into your hair. Mayonnaise is an excellent deep conditioning treatment. Leave on your hair for up to one hour. Disguise thinning hair- crack open an egg over your hair, massage, and then rinse. The extra protein will give your hair more body. Massage your scalp with apple juice- its natural fruit acids will help get rid of dandruff. Rub avocado, which contains lecithin, into dry or damaged hair.
